ACLU of Georgia

The ACLU of Georgia is dedicated to preserving the civil liberties enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Through litigation, lobbying, and communications, the ACLU of Georgia works to preserve and enhance the rights of all citizens of Georgia without political partisanship.

           


Atlanta Legal AID

Atlanta Legal Aid Society has offered free civil legal aid for low income people across metro Atlanta. With five neighborhood offices, three offices in Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta hospitals, three county courthouse projects, a variety of self-help clinics, and countless community education programs, Legal Aid lawyers and volunteers reach tens of thousands of people annually. More than 20,000 cases are represented by our staff of 75 attorneys and 1,200 volunteers every year.

              


Atlanta Pre-Arrest Diversion Program

The Atlanta/Fulton County Pre-Arrest Diversion Initiative is a coordinating agency that strives to reduce the number of people in jails who would be better served by social and behavioral health services.

        


Georgia Equality

Georgia Equality’s mission is to advance fairness, safety and opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities and our allies throughout the state. Georgia Equality, Inc. also works year-round to pass pro-equality legislation and elect fair-minded elected officials.

           


Lambda Legal Defense Fund

Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.

        


Latino LinQ

Latino LinQ advances LGBTQ equity by facilitating support services to Latinx LGBTQ people and their families in the areas of healthcare and legal assistance.

        


Stonewall Bar Association

The Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia, Inc. is a professional association of attorneys, judges, law students, paralegals and other legal professionals who support the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, and who oppose discrimination based upon sexual orientation or gender identity.

        


Racial Justice Action Center

The Racial Justice Action Center (RJAC) engages in transformative organizing to build the grassroots leadership, power, and capacity of marginalized communities to win political, economic, and social transformation in the Atlanta Metro Area.
