Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta

Big Brothers Big Sisters Atlanta works with volunteers, parents and families to create one-to-one mentoring relationships that defend, inspire and empower the potential that lives within every kid.

           


Covenant House

Covenant House Georgia (CHGA) provides emergency shelter and more for young people facing homelessness and human trafficking. They welcome with unconditional love all youth ages 18-24. Their doors are always open and their services are free of charge. CHGA respond to youths’ immediate needs and provide the support they require to reach their potential and their goal of independence.

           


CHRIS 180

CHRIS 180 helps children, young adults, and families through mental health counseling at the CHRIS Counseling Center, group homes for abused and neglected children in foster care, adoption services, a Drop-In Center for homeless young adults, and a supportive housing program for single and parenting youth, (ages 17-24), who are homeless or have aged out of the foster care system and in home programs that strengthen families.

           


Just Us

Just Us is a youth empowerment program that meets weekly for high school students who identify somewhere on the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

              


Lost N Found Youth

Lost-n-Found Youth is an Atlanta-based nonprofit that exists to end homelessness for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) and all sexual minority youth.

        


SOJOURN

The Southern Jewish Resource Network for Gender & Sexual Diversity (SOJOURN) is the American South's resource for Jewish & LGBTQ+ programming, education, support, and advocacy. Their mission is to advance LGBTQ+ affirmation and empowerment across the South.

           


Trans And Friends

Trans and Friends is a youth focused group for trans* people, people questioning their own gender, and aspiring allies. They provide a facilitated space to discuss gender, relevant resources, and activism around social issues.
