AID Atlanta

AID Atlanta works to to reduce new HIV infections and improve the quality of life of its members and the community by breaking barriers and building community. AID Atlanta currently offers HIV/AIDS prevention and care services, including (but not limited to) HIV Medical Care, HIV/STD Screening, PrEP, Community HIV Prevention Programs, Linkage Services, Case Management, and a state-wide Information Hotline.

ZAMI NOBLA

ZAMI NOBLA, (National Organization of Black Lesbians on Aging) a service, advocacy and research organization was incorporated in Atlanta, Georgia in October 2011, when its founder Mary Anne Adams noticed that older black lesbians were disappearing from community-based activities and organizations. The organization aims to empower black lesbians over 40 through community based programming, leadership development, education, and participatory research.

AbsoluteCARE is a comprehensive staff model Patient Centered Ambulatory ICU that is dedicated to improving outcomes by providing quality care, social and behavioral counseling, extensive patient outreach and newfound hope that is truly life changing for the most at-risk population.

        


Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition

AHRC engages directly with grassroots advocacy, research and direct services free of charge to those made vulnerable by drug use, sex work, overdose, gender, STIs, HIV, hepatitis and other communicable diseases.

Feminist Women’s Health Center provides a range of healthcare services and is committed to making their services safe and welcoming to the LGBTQIA+ community.

           


Fulton County Board of Health

The Fulton County Board of Health is committed to promoting and protecting the health of individuals, families, and communities. Their services include HIV care, immunizations, family planning, and providing WIC resources.

        


Health Initiative

The Health Initiative is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Georgia’s LGBTQ community through education, support, access to care and advocacy. They work directly with LGBTQ Georgians and LGBTQ-friendly providers.

           


Positive Impact

Positive Impact Health Centers provides HIV specialty care and support services, behavioral health including substance abuse treatment, HIV testing and prevention services.

        


SisterSong

SisterSong is a Southern based, national membership organization whose purpose is to build an effective network of individuals and organizations to improve institutional policies and systems that impact the reproductive lives of marginalized communities.

           


Someone Cares

Someone Cares is a leading agency in the fight against sexually transmitted diseases in the African American, Latino and Transgender communities. Their mission is to eliminate all barriers to health services for all individuals who experience health disparities related to sexual health in primary care, HIV testing, STD and HEP C screening and treatment, and intensive mental health and substance abuse counseling and treatment.

           


Mental Health

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Georgia Chapter

The Georgia Chapter of AFSP focuses on eliminating the loss of life from suicide in Georgia by: delivering innovative prevention programs, educating the public about risk factors and warning signs, raising funds for suicide research and programs, and reaching out to those individuals who have lost someone to suicide.
