Atlanta Freedom Bands

The mission of Atlanta Freedom Bands is to increase LGBTQ acceptance through our visibility as performing artists in Atlanta and surrounding communities.

           


Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra

The Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra (APO) is a volunteer symphony orchestra organized to serve the musical needs of both its community and its members. APO proudly encompasses members of all sexual orientations, racial heritage, and gender identity.

Charis Books and More specializes in diverse and unique children's books, Feminist and cultural studies books and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer fiction and non-fiction.

           


Counter Narrative Project

The Counter Narrative Project builds power among Black gay men and works in solidarity and coalition with all movements committed to social and racial justice.

        


Living Walls

Living Walls creates intentional, thought-provoking public art to inspire social change and activate public spaces. Living Walls promotes the power of public art as a social and economic engine, providing an artistic workforce to create healthy, sustainable urban spaces for the city of Atlanta.

        


Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs

The City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) was established to encourage and support Atlanta’s cultural resources. The initial mission was to solidify the role that arts and other cultural resources play in defining and enhancing the social fabric and quality of life of Atlanta citizens and visitors.

        


OurSong Atlanta

OurSong is dedicated to performing high quality music while celebrating unique gay and lesbian experience and its evolving place in the world.

        


Out Front Theatre Company

Out Front Theatre Company has existed to serve artistic excellence to the LGBTQIA+ communities of Atlanta by producing outstanding theatrical experiences which focus on the voices of the LGBTQIA+.

           


Out on Film

Out on Film, Atlanta's gay film festival, is one of the oldest gay film festivals in the United States devoted to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. The festival is held in Midtown Atlanta in October to coincide with LGBT History Month and Atlanta Pride.

  


Southern Fried Queer Pride

Southern Fried Queer Pride (SFQP) is an Atlanta-based queer and trans, arts and advocacy organization and festival celebrating the vibrant communities of the Southern United States.

     


Voices of Note

Voices of Note, through the Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus and Atlanta Women’s Chorus, presents entertaining and thought-provoking performances that appeal to a diverse audience and promote equality for all persons.

           


Wussy Mag

Wussy is a Southern + Queer magazine based in Atlanta, encouraging the discussion of politics, art, and expression from the perspective of Southern queers. WUSSY has garnered a dedicated following of readers, who look to us for a curated, singular, queer-centric point-of-view.
