The ATL311 service helps Atlanta residents report non-emergency requests and find information about the city. During emergencies, ATL311 supports response efforts for severe weather, public health, and public safety events.
Human Relations Commission
The Human Relations Commission (HRC) was established to promote mutual respect and understanding within the city of Atlanta. The HRC investigates and hears complaints regarding discrimination, makes recommendations on how to resolve such complaints, and initiates activities in keeping with its mission.
City of Atlanta Director of LGBTQ Affairs
The Director of LGBTQ Affairs works alongside Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, City of Atlanta Senior Officials, Mayor’s LGBTQ Advisory Board members, and key stakeholders to improve the quality of life for LGBTQ+ constituents.
Atlanta Police Department (APD) LGBT Liaisons
The LGBTQ Liaison Unit is a unit of the Atlanta Police Department whose goal is to improve the relationship between the LGBT community and the Atlanta Police Department.
Atlanta Fire Rescue Department (AFRD) LGBT Liaison
The role of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department LGBTQ liaisons is to provide training across AFRD related to gender identity and expression, affirmation and support of LGBTQ employees and their families, community outreach and working with residents for emergency preparedness and crisis management.
The Corrections LGBTQ liaison serves as a welcoming body to LGBTQ detainees with minor offenses, especially trans individuals, at the Atlanta City Detention Center.
